Privacy Policy

Be Back Soon Shop is operated by Be Back Soon Shop LLC(“we,” “us,” or “the studio”). We are the party responsible for your information under this policy. You can reach us any time at hello@bebacksoonshop.com.

We collect the following, and nothing we don’t need:

• Order & contact details — your name, email, shipping and billing address, and order contents, when you buy something or contact us.
• Email address — when you subscribe to our list or ask to be notified when an item is back in stock.
• Messages you send — anything you include in a contact, commission, or wholesale form.
• Automatically collected data — basic device and usage information (pages viewed, approximate location from IP, browser type) gathered through analytics cookies, only if you accept them in our cookie banner.

We do not collect or store your full payment card details — payments are handled by our checkout provider (see §6).

• To process, fulfill, and deliver your orders.
• To respond to your questions, commissions, and wholesale inquiries.
• To send marketing emails only if you opted in — you can unsubscribe from any email at any time.
• To send a one-time restock notification if you requested one.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it (analytics, if you consented).
• To protect the shop against fraud, abuse, and security threats.

We use a small number of cookies. Strictly necessary cookies keep the site and cart working and are always on. Analytics cookies are off by default— they load only after you choose “Accept” in our cookie banner. If you decline, or later change your mind, analytics stay off.

When enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use the site in aggregate. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the shop, and only as needed:

• Shopify — checkout, payments, and order management.
• Resend — sending order, restock, and (if you opted in) marketing emails.
• Supabase — storing newsletter and restock sign-ups.
• Google Analytics & Microsoft Clarity — site analytics (only with your consent).
• Sentry — error monitoring so we can fix problems.
• Vercel — hosting and delivering the website.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Checkout and payment processing are handled securely by Shopify on their hosted checkout. Your card details go directly to the payment processor — we never see or store your full card number.

We are based in the United States and process information here. We ship internationally, and if you use the site from outside the U.S. you understand your information is transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above — for example, order records for as long as required for accounting, tax, and warranty purposes, and marketing data until you unsubscribe. When it’s no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights. To exercise any of them, email hello@bebacksoonshop.comand we’ll respond within the time the law requires.

All customers

• Access the information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete it.
• Unsubscribe from marketing at any time.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

• Right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it.
• Right to request deletion of your personal information.
• Right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — note we do not sell your information.
• Right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

EU/UK residents (GDPR/UK GDPR)

• Rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection.
• Our legal bases are: performing our contract with you (orders), your consent (marketing and analytics), and our legitimate interests (running and securing the shop).
• You may lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

The shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and trusted service providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date above, and material changes will be reflected here. Please check back periodically.
